The CPA is a new community-based organisation dedicated to improving the lives of Camden residents, fostering connections among residents, organisations, campaigns and community groups to make Camden better.
It has been built out of Andrew Feinstein's vibrant and popular election campaign in July 2024 when he challenged Keir Starmer and secured an astonishing 19 per cent of the total vote with a 6-week campaign (!!) and halved Keir Starmer's majority.
During the campaign, it became clear that Camden residents are sick and tired of their so-called 'Labour' Council that keeps letting them down, and sick and tired of their MP, Keir Starmer, who just seems to get worse and worse.
The CPA plans to challenge the complacent and unrepresentative 'Labour' Council in Camden in the May 2026 elections, either as a local party or joining forces with a new national party of the left.
Right now, it is building up its membership and activism so that when the elections come in May 2026 everyone in Camden will know that they can have a powerful voice in Camden Council and start getting things done.
